Water is good for health, cleansing, detox right but what is the actual amount of water one must drink? Lets find out.
In allopathic science they say people with impared kidney or heart function should drink minimum amount of water, as it may have bad impact on these organs. So does ayurved say anything about limitation of water intake ?
So every individual drink water to hydrate themselves. But there are contra indications of drinking water as well.
OMG! Did we even know there are some people who should not drink water a lot.

नाम्बु पेयमशक्त्या वा स्वल्पमल्पाग्निगुल्मिभि:||
पाण्डूदरातिसारार्शोग्रहणिदोषशोथिभि:||
ऋतेशरन्निदाघाभ्यांपिबेत्स्वस्थोऽपि चाल्पश:||
- People with these diseases should not drink water-
- mandagni ( decreased digestive fire) ,
- Pandu ( anaemia, decreased levels of haemoglobin)
- Udar ( ascitis, water accumulation in stomach )
- Mulvyadh ( piles )
- Sangraghani ( reverse peristalsis )
- Shoath ( edema , swelling )
